My whole life I struggled with myself – what was the point of all of this? What do I do with these feelings and my low self-esteem? How can I fix myself? Is any of this worth it? That was how my mind worked – I wanted to escape; I wanted something other than my own thoughts. I needed help with getting my thinking patterns straightened out. I was constantly worried about the future or regretting the past. Even when I thought I was living life one day at a time, my mind was elsewhere. I was working 3 jobs and going to school, and all day I would just spiral, thinking about the next moment and what I had to do later or the next day. I had to learn how to slow down. That’s when I learned that I needed mindfulness in my life. Not only my daily meditation practice – but practicing being in the moment (keyword practicing) – and being mindful, not getting agitated, and responding rather than reacting. I read a bunch of books and watched documentaries on the topic. I learned and learned. I went on retreats. I shared my experiences and I asked others about theirs. Years later, I am still beyond passionate about learning about consciousness, awareness, meditation, mindfulness, manifestation, and the power of now. There is so much I have to share, and that is why I created this card deck. It's such an easy way to spread these invaluable messages - and it makes it simple for those who don't like to read too much or spend too much time on this stuff. I hope you all enjoy them :)
