Present Moment Awareness Brings Peace of Mind!

So much of our stress comes from living everywhere except the present moment. We replay the past, overthink the future, and miss the life happening right in front of us.

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself: be where you are when you’re there.

If I’m at the beach, feel the ocean. If I’m with someone I love, truly listen. If I’m resting, let myself rest instead of mentally running through tomorrow’s problems.

The past is over. The future hasn’t happened yet. Right now is the only moment we actually have.

When I catch myself spiraling, I pause, breathe, and come back to the present. Most of the time, this moment is far more peaceful than the thoughts in my head.
